Sponsorship
 Our sponsorship program allows us to contribute to activities that enhance community wellbeing. These include major environmental initiatives, SA icon events and community groups throughout the State. These include:
Our Sponsorship Policy closely aligns our sponsorships with the five pillars of SA Water's strategic map:

- Commercial success
While we receive hundreds of applications for sponsorship each year, we are committed to the organisations above for the 2009-10 financial year. However, if you would like to apply for sponsorship please follow the guidelines below.
Applying for Sponsorship
If you wish to apply for sponsorship please make sure you have provided the following items:
- A detailed report on the benefits to SA Water and the community. These benefits may include but should not be limited to, opportunities for communicating messages that align with SA Water's strategic plan, promoting or positioning SA Water within the South Australian community, raising awareness of water-related issues and SA Water's contribution to the State.
- An outline of how the sponsored activity will achieve these benefits
- Details of the target audiences and how your activities will reach these audiences
- Details of the achievable outcomes
- A breakdown of the activity budget
- An outline of how the activity will be monitored and an evaluation plan
SA Water will only sponsor South Australian based events or projects. Sponsored programs or activities must be socially inclusive in terms of participants and audience. Projects must not exclude people based on culture, gender, race, religion or disability.
SA Water will not sponsor projects, programs or events which:
- Are for individual sportspeople or teams
- Involve gambling related groups or activities
- May lead to a conflict of interest for SA Water
- Exclude people based on culture, gender, race, religion or disability
- Are held outside South Australia
- Denigrate or offend the community
Once we have received your application we will undertake an evaluation and let your know the outcomes as soon as possible. This may take up to six weeks.
If your application is successful we will require your group/organisation to sign a written sponsorship agreement before we will process payment. You will also need to provide proof of public indemnity insurance and a written evaluation report within six weeks of the end of the activity. The report must include:
- How successful the organisers believe the activity has been
- Levels of recognition of SA Water (including copies of any media)
- Number and demographics of attendees
- How the agreed benefits of the sponsorship have been realised
